Covaflu complies with the standards for protection against pandemic flu, set my the World Health Orginazation (WHO). It has been specifically designed to provide a high degree of protection to healthy members of the general public in the event of an outbreak of flu, and if the flu virus becomes capable of spreding between humans. Although wearing FFP3 face masks provides protection from airborne contamination, it does not guarantee full immunity against pandemic flu. Special note should be taken of any other preventative measures announced by government in the event of a flu pandemic.

Meets the FFP2 requirements of EN 149. EC Certificate Number 73728, issued by BSi Product Certification.

Performance:
Offers an assigned protection factor (APF) of 10 x Workplace Exposure Limit (WEL) for fine dusts, fibres, fumes and mists.

Markings:
EN149 : 2001 FFP2

Materials:
Man made fibres C/W Aluminium Nose Piece and Rubber Straps
Polystyrene exhalation valve C/W rubber diaphragm (if applicable).

Instructions For Use:
Mask must be fitted in accordance with the instructions supplied.
Care must be taken to ensure that the correct mask type is selected for the work to be carried out. If in doubt as to the type of mask required seek professional advice.

Limitations Of Use:
Protection will only be offered if the mask is fitted correctly. The mask, when in contact with the skin may cause allergic reactions to susceptible individuals. If this occurs leave the hazard area, remove mask and seek medical advice.
Notes:
i.
Use in well ventillated areas only, which are not deficient in oxygen and do not contain explosive atmospheres.
ii.
The mask must be discarded and replaced if it is a.) Removed whilst in the contaminated area, b.) Breathing difficulties due to clogging are experienced or, c.) The mask becomes damaged.
iii.
This mask is not designed to be worn by people with facial hair or other facial features that may affect seal performance.

Cleaning & Maintenance:
Not applicable - disposable product.
Store the masks out of direct sunlight away from chemicals and in a dry atmosphere.
